MAC Studded Kiss Review

MAC - Studded Kiss (Matte)

Red is a colour I have never truly explored for lips. I have always preferred a subtle shade, which is likely attributed to social shyness (ludicrous really, as I am not a shy person). Anyway, I recently acquired a new job and in celebration I headed to Harrods and purchased a new MAC lipstick to add to my 'collection' and for some unknown reason I gravitated towards red.

There was an array of reds to choose between, and after some considerable deliberation I resolved on buying Studded Kiss. Its part of the matte collection (I am usually a cremesheen kinda gal) but its surprisingly creamy in consistency which makes the application nice and trouble free, which is obviously a major bonus when it comes to red lipstick as the application process is intricate work.

As is inevitable with MAC lipsticks, the pigmentation is unparalleled. It lasts for approximately four hours before it needs re-applying. It undoubtably would match red wine, so no concern about stained lips. Can you tell I really like it?

I found that the perfect lip liner to compliment it by NYX, shade Brick House and all together it works relatively well. The main issue is me, usually in an intoxicated state whilst wearing it, forgetting and smudging my own lips. Work in progress.
