Makeup For School // Beauty On a Budget

Products Mentioned:
BASE: Revlon Nearly Naked Foundation, Lily Lolo Mineral Foundation, Collection 2000 Concealer, The Body Shop Bronzer in 'Golden Bronze', Topshop Cream Blush in 'Neon Rose'
EYES: Maybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo in 'Permanent Taupe', Collection 2000 Longer Lash Mascara
Lips: Natural Collection Juicy Lips in 'Raspberry Ripple'

I am a big advocate of beauty-on-a-budget. I love nothing more (slight exaggeration, but stay with me!) than buying a make-up product for £2 and finding out that it is something I cannot live without (again, exaggeration, but you understand how passionate I am about affordable make-up now, right?).

Lets be honest, makeup that you wear to school will undoubtably be cheap. If your school makeup isn't cheap then you are really going to begrudge removing it when asked by a teacher with a vendetta against lipstick clad girls.

Pictured above, are my favourite affordable products of the moment. Im sure it remains no surprise to you that the Collection 2000 concealer is included, a product which is undoubtably the star of the beauty blogging show. You will not regret purchasing it, and if you do, it costs £2.59. shucks. The Body Shop also do fantastic products that are usually quite penny-friendly when they have their sales on, and promotional deals. Keep your eyes peeled for these events as you can snag a high quality product for half the price. Topshop products should not be overlooked, I have found their collection to be quite surprising and thus, I am recommending. The rest I believe to all be self-explanatory, brilliant products that   I fully endorse at a cheap price. The dream team.

  6. I completely agree with you about bases, if done right and with good products they can be invisible! I love Nearly Naked and have actually almost finished mine which says a lot as I have a lot of foundations :)Thanks for sending me your link during the #bbloggers chat xx

  7. This is such a lovely post. I think so many bloggers, particularly more popular bloggers don't focus enough of budget products. Thanks for sending your link during the #bbloggers chat!

    1. I tend to agree with you, I see less and less about more budget products. I hope you enjoy the 'Beauty on a Budget' series if I make it a regular thing!

  11. Great choices - I wish I had this post when I was at school (my first foray into make up was emerald green liner and clear mascara (not to mention a weird green eyeshadow,) it would of come in so handy! I adore the Maybelline Colour Tattoo eyeshadows - so easy to use and foolproof, so perfect for school!
