Holiday in the Holidays

Old Hollywood films are incredibly underrated.
They are glamorous, classy and everything modern day society is not.
Watching them I am transported to a world of elegance.
A similar elegance that I can just feel by reading classics like The Great Gatsby.
I think the 1920's would be my favourite era, and one I would visit should I be offered the chance.
This summer holidays has seen me enjoy many classic Hollywood films.
Today I watched Holiday and feel deeply in love with Carey Grant.
However, the costume and wall-to-wall glamour was deeper within my heart.

I took this photo with my camera pinned to the TV screen in the same way that the characters are pinned to each other.

With freedom, books, flowers and the moon, who could not be happy? - Oscar Wilde
